Prof. Dr. Qiang He is Professor of Coastal Ecology at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. (www.QEcology.org)
He studies how trophic and non-trophic species interactions vary across space and time in coastal wetlands; how they affect the structure and functioning of coastal wetlands and their resilience to global environmental change; and how they can be incorporated to promote restoration and conservation. Dr. He has published more than 50 papers and book chapters, more than half of which were published in leading ecology or multidisciplinary journals such as Science Advanes, PNAS, Nature Ecology & Evolution, Trends in Ecology & Evolution, Current Biology, Ecology Letters, Ecological Monographs, and Ecology. Dr. He was selected for multiple talent programs in China. He was also a recipient of several awards including an Early Career Ecologist Award from the Ecological Society of America – Asian Ecology Section. Dr. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Ecology.
